Beware, this mattress pad is vinyl. In the U.S. the government is in process of banning the use of vinyl from all household products due to its safety. Vinyl off-gases (emits gases) while the child sleeps, allowing them to breath in these harmful chemicals from mattress pads like this or mattresses made with vinyl covers.

Works & Fits
This cover fits perfectly on my crib mattress. I've washed the covers several times and it is still is great shape. I purchased 2, to have a backup, knowing if anything leaked through the sheet and onto the pad, I'd need to change both before putting my daughter back to sleep...obviously laundry isn't always convenient depending on the time of day this could happen :)

Wonderful!
I love these mattress protectors!
I bought a pack of Two almost three years ago, and they are still in wonderful condition.
No tears or rips, and because the interior water barrier (or plastic) is inbetween the fabric and not exposed, we have never had a problem with leaks. (With other brands, one side of the pad has an exposed plastic side. The plastic always ends up ripped or tore because of being washed so frequently in the washer and dryer.)
I purchased another two pack of these when I had a second baby! I will never buy a cheaper brand again.

kept mattress dry from "accidents"
We have had one "accident" on this pad and it worked great. It stopped the leak from getting through to the mattress. It can be a little tough to get it to stay in place while putting the sheet on top, but we expected that from a non-fitted pad.

One tip - if you can, you should buy two of these. We have a layering approach. So on the mattress we have a pad, then sheet, then another pad, then another sheet. That way if there's a nighttime "accident" it's easy to remove the top sheet and pad. You don't have to spend time in the middle of the night trying to get another sheet on the bed - and you're all set in case there's another leak.

Great product & fits perfectly.
This crib pad is wonderful. I have tried a few other brands and they never seem to really fit the crib mattress tightly. This one is perfect and grips the mattress tightly. It is waterproof and is somewhat plush so that it makes the crib a little softer but not so plush that it could be a danger.
Great product
These pads are very useful. Initially bought one in this size and the two pack in the smaller size. Smaller is perfect for changing table, this one is great for layering between sheets in crib. Washes well & goes into dryer without coming apart. Have already bought multiple more small ones, now getting more big ones...for some reason my 8-month old is having more night-time incidents than before.

Might be a little *too* soft...
I ordered the 'deluxe' version, because I honestly can't resist getting what I assume will be the 'nicer' version of a baby product. The crib pad fits the mattress very well, the Sealy Baby Firm Rest Crib Mattress and it laundered just fine when I washed it, no shrinking. The only issue I have with it is that the deluxe version is 4-ply, and I assume that the regular version is not. While 4-ply is very soft and would probably be great for a slightly older child, I think it might be a little too soft for a newborn crib. Just pressing into it with my hand makes a pretty good depression that wasn't possible when it was just the mattress. So in all, the product is great, but I may have just ordered the wrong version for my needs.

Does it's job, will by again.
This 4 ply one is noticeably thicker then the 2 ply. The 2 ply works great for a little spit up or a slightly over filled pee diaper but doesn't stand a chance with the big messes. (projectile vomiting, exploding butts, a full bottle of milk opened and dumped onto the bed...etc) This 4 ply is the way to go if you don't wish to be scrubbing your crib mattress and standing there for an hour with a hair dryer to it.
Some parents mentioned that the thickness of the 4 ply was concerning with newborns and small infants, I did not notice this as a problem. Yes, it is most definitely thicker, but not enough so that it can be of any danger to my baby.
Great crib mattress pad, worth the extra couple dollars for deluxe
before buying this I could not tell the difference between the regular & deluxe mattress pad. I have ordered both. The deluxe has a better material and elastic that wraps around the edges of the mattress. The top of it is thicker than the regular one. If I order another one it will be the deluxe. Highly recommended.

misleading
The pictures are very misleading. It is not for a crib, the pad is very small, (may be good for a changing pad). It is very thin and scratchy. It doesn not fit snuggly not even on a changing pad it is not fitted. Its just a rectangular piece of fabric. There are better quality fitted crib pads at walmart, and they are cheaper.

Perfect for changing -- Note: not crib pads, they are "multi-use" pads
I love these multi-use pads. They are easy to wash (cold water, low heat dryer), but get a few if you're going to use them as I do (to protect the pretty changing pad or cover a cold plastic covered changing pad). I've washed them multiple times and yeah they get fuzzy, but I purchased for function, rather than looks.

That being said, as other reviewers have mentioned, this item is listed incorrectly. The same item sold by a major baby retailer lists these correctly as "Carter's Keep Me Dry 2 Pack Quilted Multi-Use Pads - White." They are not crib pads.

I knew what I was looking for, so I knew these were not meant to be the size of a crib, fitted mattress pad, etc.
There are better options
I purchased these pads as well as the Carter flannel pads with the frog pattern. My daughter is nine months old and we have used both kinds since she was born. The flannel ones have held up much better. These pill very badly after a few washes. I didn't mind that so much but they become rough and snag on everything. They also are starting to bunch up in the wash and I have to pull them apart to straighten them back out.

I love the idea of these pads though. I used both these and the frog ones on top of the changing pad. It is true they just sit on top and do not fit over the pad but they are extremely helpful when there is a mess. They contain it well and I can lift them off with one hand and replace them with another while holding my baby with the other arm. I couldn't do that with the covers that fit on over the pads.
