polyester fill AND cover
the bumper polyester inside and out, it almost crinkles when you squeeze it and smells with gasoline. may be both would go away after washing, but i did not want to take chances and sent it back. will go for a more expensive option, unfortunately

Harsh Material. Not soft for Baby at all.
This material was not soft at all. It was very pokey. I washed it right away to see it that would help. It kept poking. Almost like made out of stiff jute. It would give your carpet burns of rubbed against it. Specially if its a baby. Would not recommend it.
Great product, Great Price!
My son kept bumping his head on his crib rails when he slept so I went in search for a crib bumper. There are soo many different types and styles of bumpers out there, the only thing they all have in common is how ridiculously high priced they are. This bumper is super cute and is affordable. It works just as well as any other bumper (of this same style) out there. I would defiantly recommend this product.
